Cookie Policy

Last updated: 14th July 2026

What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by websites you visit. This policy also covers similar first-party browser storage we use (localStorage and sessionStorage) which behaves like a cookie for the purposes of this notice: it lets the site remember information between pages or visits.

Our approach

Facilipay only uses first-party, strictly-necessary and functional storage on this website. We do not currently load third-party analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies from facilipay.dev or facilipay.io. Some pages embed third-party content (such as Vimeo videos and HubSpot forms or meeting schedulers) — those providers may set their own cookies if you interact with their embed. See the third-party embeds section below.

Strictly necessary

These items are required for core site functionality: signing in to the admin area, keeping the editor working, and recovering from stale code deployments. They cannot be switched off from within the site.

sb-<project>-auth-token (and matching cookie)localStorage + cookie

Keeps signed-in admins and editors authenticated (Lovable Cloud auth).

Duration: Session access token (~1 hour) plus a longer-lived refresh token

facilipay-active-edit-sessionlocalStorage

Prevents two browser tabs from editing the same content at once.

Duration: Until edit session is released or cleared

facilipay-edit-modesessionStorage

Remembers in-page edit mode within the current admin tab.

Duration: Tab session

facilipay-module-import-reloadsessionStorage

One-shot reload guard so a stale JavaScript chunk after a deployment recovers automatically.

Duration: Tab session

sidebar:stateCookie

Remembers whether the admin sidebar is expanded or collapsed.

Duration: 7 days

Functional / preferences

These items remember choices you have made so the site behaves the way you expect on your next visit. They are not used for tracking across other websites.

facilipay-themelocalStorage

Remembers your light / dark / system theme preference.

Duration: Until cleared

facilipay_shop_currencylocalStorage

Remembers the currency you selected on the Shop page.

Duration: Until cleared

fp_attribution_v1localStorage

Records first- and last-touch marketing attribution (UTM parameters, click IDs such as gclid/fbclid/msclkid, and the referrer / landing page) so that when you submit a contact, demo or enquiry form we can attribute the enquiry correctly. It is only sent to our own backend when you submit a form.

Duration: Until cleared

cs-editor-table-hint-dismissedlocalStorage

Remembers that an admin editor dismissed a one-time editor hint.

Duration: Until cleared

facilipay-last-logout-acklocalStorage

Remembers that an admin acknowledged the last-logout banner so it is not shown again.

Duration: Until cleared

Analytics

We do not currently load third-party analytics on this website. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent before non-essential analytics cookies are set.

Advertising and targeting

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this website. We do not sell personal data.

Third-party embeds

Some pages embed third-party content; for example our Vimeo videos and HubSpot forms and meeting schedulers. If you play a video or interact with an embedded form, the provider may set its own cookies under their own privacy and cookie policies (Vimeo, HubSpot). Those cookies are controlled by the provider, not by Facilipay.

How to control cookies and site storage

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can clear the localStorage and sessionStorage entries listed above from your browser's site-data or developer tools. Blocking the strictly-necessary items above will prevent the admin area, editor, or shop preferences from working correctly, but will not affect your ability to browse the public site.

Questions about this Cookie Policy or the storage described above can be sent to privacy@facilipay.com. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data more broadly.
