Gift Aid

When enabled, donors are asked to make a Gift Aid declaration after choosing an amount. Choose which details to request, and which are mandatory.

Charity details

Details about the charity donations are collected for. These appear to donors and feed Gift Aid claim calculations.

Your registered charity number. It is shown on the terminal screen while a customer is making a donation.
Average payment charge
1.9 %
Your typical card processing charge as a percentage of the donation. Gift Aid claims must be made exclusive of payment charges, so this is used to work out the claimable amount.
